Getting Down to Business

The Campbelltown Catholic Club was honored to receive two first place awards and one finalists place at this year's Local Business Awards ceremony.
The Campbelltown Catholic Club took home the prestigious award for the best Tourism and Entertainment Venue, beating Wests Leagues Club, the Campbelltown RSL and Macarthur Bowl.
Aquafit Fitness and Leisure came out on top of 3 other finalists to win the best Health and Fitness Centre for the second year in a row, while Oceana Day Spa was nominated as a finalist in the Beauty Service division.
The elaborate awards ceremony was held at The CUBE Entertainment and Convention Centre in the Campbelltown Catholic Club. There were over 160 finalists at this year's awards ceremony. This amazing response indicates an enormous level of community involvement and support for local businesses.
The Local Business Awards is a national program run annually by Precedent Productions who founded the local business awards in order to recognise the achievements of local businesses.
Members of the local community nominate their favourite businesses, and those with the most nominations become finalists. These businesses are then visited by anonymous judges who assess each business on their appearance and presentation, product range, value for money and their standard of customer service.
"The huge Campbelltown response in nominations really indicates a high standard in local businesses and the great relationship they obviously have with their customers and the greater community," managing director Steve Loe said.
Each year, the Campbelltown Local Business Awards are made possible through sponsors. This year, Campbelltown Catholic Club was a major sponsor alongside HomeBase Campbelltown and IMB Business Banking. Support sponsors were Campbelltown Council, Macarthur Disability Services, MG: My Gateway, Canterbury BMW and MWLP: Linking Youth.
