The ClubsNSW Awards for Excellence rewards and promotes excellence in the management and operation of clubs in NSW. Campbelltown Catholic Club has always been a leader in the industry and this year is no different with the Club winning back to back titles for both Best Club Functions Centre and Best Club Entertainment Venue!

Management and Directors represented the Club at the awards ceremony held on Friday 27 May at the Sydney Exhibition Centre and were honored to collect the awards.

“It’s fantastic to see the Club recognised for its continued commitment to providing quality entertainment and leisure facilities to both the local and broader community” says Michael Lavorato, Campbelltown Catholic Club CEO.

“Our range of entertainment is second to none, providing an extremely wide variety of entertainment from Wiggles concerts for the kids to cabaret, theatre shows and concerts including Menopause the Musical and the Potbelleez never before seen in the Macarthur region. Our quality free live entertainment, bingo, raffles and promotions also plays its part in creating a diverse entertainment mix for the whole community”.

Since the introduction of The Cube, the Club has won this prestigious entertainment award every year. The venue speaks for itself – superb acoustics, state of the art sound and lighting, versatile exhibition space, accessibility and the list goes on. 

Campbelltown Catholic Club also won Best Club Function Venue for the second consecutive year. The win is testament to the Clubs dedicated and highly skilled service, great value for money and continuous quest for improvement.

One of the Clubs most significant improvements was achieving National HACCP accreditation in January 2011. HACCP( Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) provides a systematic, planned approach to controlling food safety hazards. In simple terms it means that quality processes have been implemented to ensure your meal has been transported, stored, cooked and served to you in the safest way possible.

To achieve HACCP accreditation is a significant milestone and places the Clubs food handling practices amongst the best in the country. This adds another powerful point of difference to the Clubs award winning function facilities.

Campbelltown Catholic Club was also named a finalist in four other award categories including the Chefs Table Award, Best Club Gaming Venue (Large Clubs), Outstanding Community Service Award (Large Club), Club of the Year Award (Large Clubs), a further testament to the quality of our staff and service to the community.
