Clubs NSW Awards for Excellence 2010

The Campbelltown Catholic Club was recognized by receiving two prestigious awards at the Clubs NSW Club of the Year Awards on Friday, 4 June, 2010.
The awards were for Best Club Entertainment for a large club, and Best Club Function Venue. It was an overwhelming compliment to the Club to be commended for providing its members with first class entertainment and venues which are beyond compare in the industry.
The Campbelltown Catholic Club has seven modern and stylish function rooms packed with state of the art facilities to meet every need for all types of events. From weddings and engagements, to christenings, birthdays and cocktail parties, to conferences, exhibitions and product launches, to wild and rocking concerts – the Catholic Club can do it all.
The CUBE Entertainment and Convention Centre is a superb, unmatched multi-purpose venue, which has staged a number of impressive acts since its opening in 2008, including Sneaky Sound System, The Living End and Hale and Pace.
The CUBE was also the venue for the world's largest poker tournament, for several live boxing and wrestling matches, and for the largest viewing of the State of Origin on three massive projection screens.
Clubs NSW CEO David Costello said that "a club like Campbelltown Catholic Club has over the past year booked numerous acts for their younger members, but have also featured the Wiggles, John Williamson, Adam Harvey, Toni Childs and Tom Burlinson."
As well as catering for a massive demographic, Mr Costello also noted that "clubs know that if you use quality acts and keep ticket prices reasonable, the public will have a great night."
The Campbelltown Catholic Club is looking forward to providing the Macarthur community with another jam-packed year of rocking entertainment.
