Clubs across the Werriwa and Macarthur electorates will have to spend more than $35 million just to install this ‘big-brother’ scheme and at least 560 local staff will lose their jobs because clubs won’t be able to afford to keep them on.
Many clubs across our region will have no choice but to close their doors. The domino effect will stop club contributions to local charities, sporting groups and impact ordinary Australians who love their club.

Club CEO to brave the cold in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout
On Thursday 16 June 2011 the Vinnies CEO Sleepout takes place in capital cities across Australia. Campbelltown Catholic Club CEO Michael Lavorato will be taking his sleeping bag to join a host of top executives sleeping and community leaders braving the cold at Luna Park to raise money and awareness about homelessness in Australia.
Campbelltown Catholic Club now HACCP Accredited
After 3 years of hard work and dedication to building a Food Safety Program, Campbelltown Catholic Club has now achieved HACCP Accreditation. HACCP, meaning Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point, provides a systematic, planned approach to controlling food safety hazards.
State Election - Barry O’Farrell Video Message
On 23 February ClubsNSW wrote to the NSW Premier, Kristina Keneally MP and the Leader of the Opposition, Barry O’Farrell MP, inviting them to prepare a brief video message that outlines their plans for clubs should either be successful at the 26 March election. Both were advised that the message would be released on 7 March.
Campbelltown Catholic Club donates $10,000 to Flood Appeal
ClubsNSW has pledged $50,000 to launch the Clubs NSW Flood Relief Appeal, with Campbelltown Catholic Club today donating $10,000.
Campbelltown Catholic Club is encouraging everyone to do what they can and donate to the Clubs NSW Flood Relief Appeal. All funds will go to helping the victims of the floods currently destroying parts of Queensland and now northern areas of NSW.
